Talleres Aratz

Aratz has participated in projects such as the Quixote space probe and Atlas, the particle detector of the European Large Hadron Collider.
It began its journey as a machining workshop in 1975, with the help of three partners and 9 employees in small premises of 300 m2. Today, it has exponentially multiplied its dimensions in all senses, without losing the essence of being an SME. Its commitment to technology and the development of large pieces makes it a benchmark in its specialty. It collaborates with the best firms in the world in the hydroelectric sector for the manufacture of turbines and Pelton wheels of any size, and also for the aeronautical and aerospace sectors. Among his space projects, he has manufactured parts for the Quijote probe, together with IDOM, for large telescopes in Hawaii and the Canary Islands, and contributed to the creation of ATLAS, one of the seven particle detectors of the Large Hadron Collider of the European Center for Nuclear Research in Geneva.
