The Mercedes-Benz factory in Vitoria, with more than six decades of presence in Alava, has accumulated an impressive track record of milestones that reflect the spirit of constant innovation of its human capital. In 2011, it was first in the world to manufacture an electric commercial vehicle. Today, this plant is a paradigm of industry 4.0. In Vitoria, four models are manufactured for the whole world. The Vito and eVito commercial vehicles are named after the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The V-Class and the EQV electric vehicle are high-end passenger cars.
