Michelin has its largest industrial center in Europe, in Álava, spanning 430,000 m ²

It has been present in Vitoria-Gasteiz since 1966, where it employs some 3,500 people. The Vitoria plant has a manufacturing capacity of 195,000 tonnes of tyres per year. Its extensive logistics centre in Araia, in the Llanada Alavesa, spans 80,000 m². It can store up to 1.8 million tyres, and distributes 15 million tyres each year.
